We have created a packaging system that uses genetically engineered viruses to deliver messenger RNA (mRNA) and essentially any desired gene editing tool of choice, such asour exonuclease-enhanced prime editing tool, to cells that are difficult to transfect.
Besides its obvious translational implications, this versatile system also enables a new engineered channels for cell-to-cell communication.
